Players Record (since 2005)

He started playing in 1954 for his primary school in Farnborough Hants, then for the Grammar School and the Church. Whist in the RAF he played chronologically for Locking apprentices, South Cerney, Bracknell,Hullavington,Oakington,Bahrain,Benson, Locking, Manby,Cranwell, St Mawgan, Kinloss, A&AEE BoscombeDown,Kinloss. Club cricket for Mapledurham CC (Reading), Sutton-on-Sea, Winterborne Gunner, Hale, and a few evening fixtures for Chilthorne Domer in 1989.


As an opening bowler he can boast a 9fer and an 8fer on sporting wickets at St Eval and Binbrook, and a 5fer including a hat trick at Spalding. Also bowling 23 overs from one end at Lossiemouth. Best team - Hale. Won the SW division of the Hampshire league in 1980. His contribution being 110/ 29/ 257 /22 /11.68.

As far as batting goes, he batted somewhere down the order. He scored one 50 (Apart from an I Botham impression on Ascension Island).
